Kenneth and Donna Preston of Wheatland will celebrate their 50th anniversay July 12 with a reception and open house given by their children from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Wheatland Christian Church.

All friends and relatives are invited.

The couple requests no gifts. The church is located at SR 550 and Old U.S. 50 in Wheatland.

Kenneth Preston and Donna D. Stout were married July 11, 1958, at Carmi, Ill.

She is the daughter of the late Alvin and Claudine Stout.

She retired as a registered nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes.

He is the son of the late H. Lee and Mary Ester Preston. He is retired from Good Samaritan Hospital with many years as the administrative director of the laboratory.

The couple have three children and two sons-in-law, Donnetta and Kenny Doyle of Lawrenceville, Ill., Pamela and Jeff Jackson of Vincennes and Robert Preston. They have two grandchildren.

The couple reside at 961 S. Enley Road, Wheatland.
