Emily Nicole Bean and Brandon Lee Clark were united in marriage Oct. 6, 2006, at New Hope Christian Church. Pastor David Bean, uncle of the bride, united the couple in marriage.

The bride is the daughter of Joe and Rene Bean of Washington. Her grandparents are Pastor Ben Bean and the late Eva Bean and Dale Foster, all of Washington, and the late Doris Foster.

The bridegroom is the son of Dennis and Chris Clark of Washington. His grandparents are Eleanor Clark of Washington and the late Edward “Bud” Clark and Leo and Ruth Barley of Cannelburg.

Serving as her bridesmaids were the bride’s two sisters, Alicia Bean and Kelly Birt, and sister of the bridegroom Chelsea Clark. Brooklyn Bean, niece of the bride, served as the flower girl.

Serving as best man was Matt Flynn. Groomsmen were Kyle Babrick and Ross Wood. The ushers were Nick DeVore and Tanner Fowler.

Pastor Ben Bean, grandfather of the bride, did the Scripture reading. Morgan Brashear served as the pianist and Kaycie Durnil was the vocalist. Amber Cook and Mallory Mattson distributed programs and bells. Alyssa Edwards was the guest book attendant. Cake and punch servers were Anita Perkins Alyssa Edwards, Sandra and Ashley Rice.

The bride wore an A-line strapless satin gown, with crystals, pearls, metallic embroidery and vertical cascading bugle beading. The dress had contrasting champagne color on the yoke and hem of the cathedral train. The bride wore pearl drop earrings and a pearl necklace. In remembrance of her late grandmothers the bride wore a broach and a diamond ring that had belonged to each of them. The bride carried two dozen roses.

A horse-drawn carriage took the couple to the Washington Community Building for their reception. Wedding guests traveled from Colorado, Michigan, Kentucky and Tennessee.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Washington High School and will graduate in 2008 with a bachelors degree in elementary education from Oakland City University.

The bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Washington High School and will graduate in 2008 with a bachelors degree in social studies education for OCU.

The couple now resides in Washington.
