Eh Wah uses a pizza cutter for the first time last week when he and other Karens, a group of religious refugees from Burma, learned to make homemade pizza. Jennifer Stefancik with Purdue Extension Health and Human Sciences and Lynne Kiesel, with the Cultural Learning Center, also part of Purdue Extension helped teach the group food safety along with the cooking instruction.
