The pies were part of the reward for primary and elementary students raising over $8,600 to go toward a matching grant for new playground equipment. The kindergarten class of Natalie Knepp raised over $1,400, the most of any class, and Knepp's kindergartner's as well Amy Kavanaugh's kindergarten class will be the first to play on the new equipment when it gets installed.
