15 charged in multi-state meth bust

* Marcus Newson, 34, 400 E. Main St., on a federal warrant for conspiracy to distribute over 500 grams of methamphetamine.

* James Coy, 43, 901 W. Main St., on a federal warrant for conspiracy to distribute over 500 grams of methamphetamine.

* Haven Ramsey, 55, 1705 North St., on a federal warrant for money laundering.

* Ruby Ramsey, 56, 1705 North St., on a federal warrant for money laundering.

Others arrested in the ring include:

* Christopher Kimmons, 41, Coldwater, Miss., on a federal warrant for conspiracy to distribute over 500 grams of methamphetamine.

* Antoin Alson, 36, Long Beach, Calif., on a federal warrant for conspiracy to distribute over 500 grams of methamphetamine.

* Barbara Kimmons, 68, Coldwater, Miss., on a federal warrant for money laundering.

One man, David Merritt, 43, no known address, is still a fugitive and is currently wanted by authorities.

Six were taken to the Daviess County Security Center and were being held on $500,000 bond. One person, Fox, was released on bond and another, Marshall, was transferred to another facility.

Many departments assisted in the arrests including the sheriff's departments of Daviess and Vanderburgh counties, Washington, Vincennes and Evansville police departments, the U.S. Marshal's service, the United States Postal Service, Internal Revenue Service, the National Guard, Indiana State Police and the Daviess County Prosecutor's Office.

The release said investigations are still continuing into the Marshall ring.
