Commissioners to meet Monday

Daviess County commissioners will meet at 9 a.m. Monday at the courthouse. Items included on the agenda: Bennington levee; ordinance establishing fee for health department; terrorism insurance coverage.

Basketball panelat Knox Co. Library

Keith Doades will moderate a panel discussion about the outstanding players, coaches and games of the Wabash Valley High School basketball tournament on Knox County and southwestern Indiana. Including 188 schools, the tournament was conducted from 1916 to 1972 in Terre Haute. Doades will be at the Knox County Public Library, 502 N. Seventh St., Vincennes, at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 19.

Pike County school board to meet

Pike County school board will meet in executive session at 5 p.m. Monday. The regular session will be at 7 p.m.

Council to meet Monday

Washington City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday in Council Chambers, 200 Harned Ave. Items included on the agenda: introduction of ordinances rezoning land along CR 200E and along western right-of-way of I-69 and north of CSX railroad. The Board of Public Works and Safety will meet following the Council meeting. Items included on the agenda: discussion/approval of claims; reading of bank statements.
