---- — 4-H Livestock meeting

Daviess County 4-H livestock committee meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Extension Office. The 4-H directors’ meeting will follow at 7:30 p.m.

PC school board to meet

Pike County school board will meet in executive session at 6 p.m. Monday. The regular session will be at 7 p.m.

City Council meeting on Monday

Washington City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday in Council Chambers, 200 Harned Ave. Items included on the agenda: reading of resolution amending comprehensive plan of Washington; election of Council president; appointment to board and commissions.

Board of Public Works and Safety will me following the council meeting. Items included on the agenda: discussion/approval of claims, transformer agreement, salary/position changes and water project.

Screenings at DCH

Daviess Community Hospital will offer the following screenings from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday in the DCH lobby: depression and Alzheimer’s; blood pressure; BMI (body mass index); and glucose (blood sugar) — fasting for eight hours prior to this screening gives the best results.

Park and Rec board meeting

Washington Park and Recreations board will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Council Chambers, 200 Harned Ave. All interested citizens and patrons of any of the three parks, Eastside, Longfellow and South Park, are welcome to attend.
