Bledsoe and Rybicki marry in Terre Haute

Alexis Paige Bledsoe, daughter of David and Judy Bledsoe of Terre Haute, and Cyril Rybicki, son of Ben and Erin Rybicki of Sterling Heights, Mich., exchanged wedding vows Sept. 14 at White Chapel at Rose Hulman in Terre Haute.

The wedding was officiated by Pastor Ray Leach. The bride was escorted by her father. She wore an organza ball gown featuring pleated skirt tiers, lace-up back and beaded appliques with a chapel train. Her bridal bouquet included pins belonging to her grandmother (Karen Petty), her great-grandmother (Colleen Burris) and her great-great-grandmother (Lillian Jerger).

The best man was Nick Brady of Granger. Groomsmen were Grant LaFaive of Sterling Heights, Chris Miller, Holton, Derek Dauenbaugh of Bloomington, Ill., Josh Wininger of Evansville, and Matt Stuart of Washington.

The maid of honor was Hannah Bledsoe of Terre Haute. Bridesmaids were Brittany Lake of Petersburg, Elaine Schaudt of Villa Park, Ill., Gretchen Graber of Washington, Candice Sandberg of Plainfield, and Virginia Rybicki of Sterling Heights. Mia Loyd of Terre Haute served as the flower girl and Mason Loyd of Terre Haute was the ring bearer, Dominic Rybicki of Sterling Heights served as usher.

The bride is a graduate of Terre Haute North High School and Rose-Hulman in 2013 with a degree in chemistry. She is employed at Nice Pak Products in Mooresville. She is the granddaughter of Morris and Karen Petty, Charlie Bledsoe, all of Washington, and the late Ann Bledsoe.

The bridegroom is a graduate of DeLasalle High School in Sterling Heights and a 2012 graduate of Rose Hulman with a master’s degree in electrical engineering. He is employed at Technology Service Corporation in Bloomington. He is the grandson of Ben and Estrella Rybicki of Sterling Heights, and Pat and Mary Anne O’Shea of Springfield, Mass.

Following the wedding reception at Zorah Shrine in Terre Haute, the couple honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. They now reside in Camby.
