The Knox County Public Library, in co-operation with the Natural Gardeners’ Club, is offering the public a chance to learn more about “Healthy Eating,” with educational information and actual taste samples of healthy foods. A Healthy Eating Fair will be held March 22 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Fortnightly Club building, 421 N. Sixth St., Vincennes. Visitors will experience a variety of demonstrations, food samples and important information such as the benefits of fermented dairy products (yogurt and kefir), Mayo Clinic’s 10 Great Healthy Foods, container gardening, growing vegetables, selecting healthy foods, nutritional alternatives, and more. Some of the informational booths, samples and vendors will be represented by Sozo Market, the Vincennes Farmers Market, Purdue Extension, Natural Blessings, members of the Natural Gardeners Club, and others. The program is free and open to the public .
