Early voting in person for the May 6, 2014, primary election will begin in the office of the Circuit Court Clerk on April 8. Voting will continue Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. until noon May 5. Voters are required to show an Indiana driver’s license, an Indiana photo I.D. card, a U.S. passport, or other photo I.D. issued by the state of Indiana or the U.S. government.
The clerk’s office, located on the top floor of the courthouse, will also be open Saturday April 25 and May 3 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for those voters who cannot make it to the office during regular hours. Persons requiring a ballot be mailed to them, or need assistance to vote, should contact the voter registration office at 812-254-8679.
