Second graders in Ronelle Linneweber’s class at Washington Catholic Elementary will be selling Scentsy Fragrance products which include wickless candle warmers, wickless scents, fresheners, scented stuffed animals, shower and bath products, perfume, car fresheners and more.

The class will be taking orders through Oct. 18. The proceeds will be used to purchase items needed in the classroom. For more information, call Linneweber at rlinneweber@evdio.org or 890-1891.

Plainville Alumni to meet

The Plainville alumni and friends reunion will be at noon Saturday at the Community Building in Eastside Park. A catered luncheon will be served at noon. The cost is $15 per person at the door.

The graduating classes of 1933 (its eighth year with two members attending), 1938, 1943, 1948, 1953, 1958, 1963 and 1968 will be recognized.

Book sale at Library

Friends of the Library will hold its annual book sale at Washington Carnegie Public Library, 300 W. Main St., Oct. 17 from 10 a.m. to noon for members only preview and from noon to 5 p.m. open to the public; Oct. 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. open to the public; and Oct. 19 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. open to the public.

Planning Commission to meet

The Montgomery Area Planning Commission will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14, in the town hall.
