Daviess County 4-H directors will meet at 7:15 p.m. today at the Daviess County Extension Office.

Plainville church to hold chili supper

The youth of Plainville Christian Church will be serving chili, sandwiches and desserts from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at the church fellowship hall. Free will offering with all donations to support Christian Discipleship Ministries Inc.

Collecting for Jubilee Christmas

Jubilee Christmas will be collecting new and gently used children’s books (newborn to age 15) as part of their annual Jubliee Christmas stores. Drop-off sites for the books are Old National Bank (Main Street), the RSVP office (Eastside Park), and the Times Herald office. The Times Herald office will also have a Jubilee Christmas tree where community members can chose ornaments to help purchase gifts for local children.
