NARFE accepting scholarship applications

---- — The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association is accepting applications for scholarships from children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren (step-relationships included) of all current NARFE members. To qualify, the applicant must be a high school senior planning to attend an accredited college full time by fall/winter 2014 and must have a cumulative G.P.A. of at least 3.0 on an unweighted 4.0 scale. Applications for the competition must be postmarked no later than April 25, 2014. A total of six scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded in this region.

To obtain a scholarship application, go to www.narfe.org and download publication F105, a guide to NARFE’s annual scholarship awards program. Applications may also be acquired from the NARFE National Vice-President at natvp@narfe.org.
