---- — City offices closed on Good Friday

All city offices and departments will be closed Friday in observance of Good Friday. There will be no trash pickup and the city bus will not be in operation. The recycling center will be closed Friday and Saturday. Residents with trash pickup on Friday are asked to have their trash ready for pickup by 7 a.m. Monday. Call the Street Department at 812-254-4564 with any questions.

Feed My Sheep to distribute

Feed My Sheep will distribute groceries from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at 601 W. Oak St. There will be no admittance to the building until 9 a.m. and the doors will be locked at 1 p.m. Groceries will be distributed at the Odon Nazarene Church, SR 58, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday for persons with Odon and Elnora addresses. Emergency food will only be given by referral from another agency. Connections can be reached at 812-257-2650. Everyone will need to bring proof of address in order to receive groceries if they have not already done so this year, such as mail that was delivered to you at your address. Feed My Sheep is a food-help program for residents of Daviess County. If you have any questions for Feed My Sheep, call 812-254-5429 and leave a message.

Westminster services set

Westminster Presbyterian Church Easter/ Holy Week services will be Maundy Thursday service at 7 p.m.; Sunday, 8 a.m. early service, 9 a.m. Easter breakfast, 10:30 a.m. Easter service and egg hunt.
