DCH Auxiliary hosts luncheon

DCH Auxiliary hosts luncheon

The Daviess Community Hospital Auxiliary hosted the third luncheon of the year on Sept. 10. Susan Ballengee, Jo Ann Dayton, Janet Goodwin, Joe Kilps and Terry O’Maley hosted the meal. The prayer was given by W.P. Norris.

Door prizes were the mums which were the center pieces. They were won by Ruby Miller, Cindy Helderman, Linda Osmon, Nancy Jackson Wilkins, Doris Kane, Barbara Wildridge and Bernetta Buchheit.

Other members attending the luncheon were Betty Bechtel, Evelyn Bowens, Joyce Brochin, Margaret Clauss, Margaret Colbert, Mike Cook, Steve Foddrill, Janis Honaker, P.K. Kane, Judy Lamb, Dwight Maust, Polly Mead, Mary Meyer, Darrell Stoll, Shirley Wade, Nina Way and LiIly Mae Wittmer.

Other guests of the hospital were CEO David Bixler, Shirley Yoder, Marilyn Richard, Angie Steiner, Charles Ellis and Kathryn Keck.

Towers holds breakfast

Debbie Miles with Prairie Village Nursing Home served biscuits and gravy to the residents of the Washington Towers on Sept. 18. Those attending were Marilyn Barrett, Margaret Bingham, Gladys Bledsoe, Ron and Rita Burton, Marie Cain, Mike Drust, Mike Grannan, Rita Guy, Linda Hatton, Philip Hunter, Pat Jones, Lee and Penny Martin, Frances McCain, Juanita Meade, Harriett Mercier, Eugene Rhoads, Nancy Riester, Rose Stanley, Donna Stone, Freida Traylor and Mary Wright.
