Strange - O'Maley reunion in Bramble

---- — The annual Strange - O’Maley reunion was held at St. Joseph Annex in Bramble on Sept. 1. Hosts for the day were the Colvin family of Loogootee.

A delicious carry-in dinner was shared and enjoyed by all and was followed by a business meeting, the awarding of special prizes, a group photo, and games.

Prizes were awarded to Ruth Strange as the most senior woman; George Hudoff as the most senior man; Ellie Kneer as the youngest child; and Jim and Beck Matthews for having traveled the farthest. Additional winners were Aubrie Ziegler for the door prize; Larry Colvin for the bean count; and Becky Matthews and Lynn Ziegler sharing the prize for the 50/50 drawing.

Guest attending from Loogootee were Carolyn Arvin, Doug and Gayle Strange, Lynn and Aubrie Ziegler, Gene and Rick Colvin and Wyatt Holt.

Those attending from out of town were Ruth Strange, Pam Hurt, George, Linda and Jim Hudoff, Pat Colvin and Craig Richards, all of Bloomington; Steve Colvin, Brandon, Carrie and Ellie Kneer, Joel and Summer Strange, Caleb Strange and Miquela Alexander, all of Evansville; Roger and Erva Strange of French Lick; Diane and Mikayla Richardson, Rick, Belinda and Sean Flynn, all of Washington; Larry Strange, Dave, Millie, Wally and Sarah Colvin, all of Indianapolis; and Colton Henninger of Shoals.

Out of state guests were Jim and Becky Matthews of Jackson, Mich.; Larry Colvin of Dayton, Ohio; and Alice Strange of Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Next year’s reunion will again be held at the St. Joseph Annex in Bramble on Aug. 31. Carolyn (Strange) Arvin and family will be the hosts.
