Goodwin descendants hold family reunion

The Jeremiah and Margaret Goodwin descendants met for their annual reunion Sept. 15 in the 4-H building at the Eastside Park. The carry-in dinner was hosted by the John Goodwin family. Prayer was led by Hubie Holland.

There were a total of 80 family members and guests in attendance. Prizes went to Clova Dobbyn for the oldest woman; Bud Goodwin for the oldest man; Taylour Heldt for the youngest child and Tracey Tackett for coming the farthest. Mums were won by Brenda Clark, Clova Dobbyn, Angie Truelove, Susanne Kinnett, Evan Heldt, Libby Truelove, Barbara Killion and Jayden Goodwin.

Those attending from the John Goodwin family were: Steve Goodwin, Jaden Goodwin, Seth Allison, Todd Allison, Maureen Allison, Tracey Tackett, Ross Tackett, Greg Allison, Toni Allison, Terry Goodwin, Shirley Goodwin, Nolan Goodwin, Betty Goodwin, Ivan (Bud) Goodwin, Sharon Goodwin Arnold, John Arnold, Hadleigh Ritcheson, Shawn Miller, Lindsey Miller, Bella Miller, Xavier Miller and Beau Humphries.

Those attending from the Joe Goodwin family were: Barbara Killion, Randy Killion, Tom Biddinger, Ruby Biddinger, Sharon Hinkle, Ray Hinkle, Libby Truelove, Angie Truelove, Hollis Truelove, Steve Truelove and Janet Byram.

The next reunion will be Sept. 21, 2014, at the 4-H building at Eastside Park with the Joe Goodwin family hosting.
