Psi Iota Xi chapter holds October meeting

---- — The local chapter of Psi Iota Xi met on Oct. 1 at the HUB at Antioch Christian Church.

Meeting was called to order by President Shelley Ryan. The fall party at Stephanie Streepy’s was discussed. Streepy has a little petting zoo with goats, pigs, cats, chickens and turkeys.

The 2013-2014 planning calendar and committee schedules were passed out and reviewed by everyone for small corrections and updates.The new membership drive applications were passed out and Terri Resler encouraged everyone to invite family and friends to join the group.

The fall mum sale was very successful and now the Christmas wreath committee is gearing up for the last project in 2013. The Christmas wreaths are 24-inch Noble fir with a red velvet bow attached. They are very durable and will brighten any home for the Christmas season.

After the official meeting was closed food was served by the hosts Pat Brochin and Elke Guratzsch.

Sisters present at the meeting were Crystal Dant, Nichole and Marijo Kane, Trish Knepp, Pat Brochin, Kim Loyd, Karen Murray, Shelley Ryan, president, Denise Newland, Terri Resler, Stephanie Streepy, Roberta Wichman, Tracey Keith, Kay Stoll, Lori West, Elke Guratzsch and Julie Halter. The next meeting will be on Nov. 5.
