---- — County Council to meet

Daviess County Council will meet at 9 a.m. Wednesday in the Commissioners’ Room at the courthouse. Items included on the agenda: Trilogy Healthcare Services declaratory resolution; 2014 meeting schedule; requests for additional appropriations and transfer of funds.

Soup supper at Wheatland

Wheatland United Methodist Church, 330 W. Main St., will hold a soup supper and auction beginning at 5 p.m. Saturday for a freewill offering. The auction will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Craft Fair at 4-H building

Delta Theta Tau Sorority will sponsor the Fall Craft and Vendor Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the Eastside Park 4-H Building. Admission is $1 and will be donated to a local charity.

Halloween Arts Harvest on Saturday

There will be a Halloween Arts Harvest from 10 a.m .to 8 p.m. Saturday at Holiday Inn Express. Admission is $2 with children 12 and under free.

Bowman family reunion

The descendants and friends of the Howard Bowman family will have their annual reunion at the Odon Second Mt. Olive Church basement Sunday. A covered dish dinner will begin at 12:30 p.m. For more information, call Loretta Osmon at 636-4906.

Flu shots at Good Shepherd

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church will hold a flu shot clinic at 11 a.m. Sunday in the adult education room. The cost is $25 or free with your Medicare card. A registered nurse from Daviess Community Hospital Home Health will administer the vaccine.

Pace office closed Friday

The offices of Pace Community Action Agency will be closed Friday training. Offices will resume normal operating hours on Monday, Oct. 21.
