Boil Order

Daviess County Rural Water System has issued a precautionary boil water advisory for all customers west of CR 575E over through Cornettsville and Harbstreit Hill, down SR 57 to CR 250N.

All 4-H project workshop next week

On June 19 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the 4-H Building in Eastside Park there will be an all 4-H'er project workshop for those who have project questions, need help completing paperwork, or are not sure if their project meets the guidelines.Come to the all new project workshop to get your questions answered. Various stations will be set up including, photography, electric, cards, posters, scrapbooking, crafts, showmanship and several others. Project supplies (normally sold at the 4-H office) will be available at the workshop for purchase. 4-H'ers are encouraged to bring their projects (except livestock) to the workshop.

Art in the Park

A fun-filled afternoon of painting and drawing in the park will be held Saturday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Plainville Park. This is a free event. All ages and skill levels are encouraged to come out. Bring your own supplies and make some art. For more information contact Cory Brown at 812-486-2374.

Wednesday — Eastgate Manor bingo, 10 a.m.

Thursday — Bible study, 10 a.m.; Crochet Club, 1 p.m.

Friday — Good Samaritan Home Health bingo, 10 a.m.

Vincennes Park Sing Along

The Smithsonian's National Museum of History is sponsoring a national sing along and has invited the National Park Service to Join. Vincennes' own Heaven Rall will be singing the national anthem inside the George Rogers Clark National Historical Park rotunda at 3 p.m. Saturday. The public is invited to join in the singing.
