TRI-CAP sponsoring trip to Savannah

TRI-CAP is sponsoring a Savannah, Jekyll Island and Beaufort motorcoach trip through Diamond Tours, Inc. from Oct. 19 to Oct. 25, 2014. The spacious, video and restroom equipped motorcoach will leave from the Jasper Kmart parking lot on Third Avenue on Sunday, October 19, 2014 for a seven day, six night trip to the beautiful Georgia/South Carolina area.

The $579 price per person is based on double occupancy and will include six nights of lodging, 10 meals- six breakfasts and four dinners, tours of Jekyll and St. Simon’s Island, Savannah the “Belle of Georgia,” and Beaufort, SC the “Queen of the Carolina Sea Islands,” Millionaires Club and the South Carolina State Museum. You will also tour the Parris Island Marine base highlighting the Iwo Jima Monument, Parade Field, and the Parris Island Museum. You’ll feel like you’ve traveled back in time as you enjoy moss-draped oaks, the mansions and scenery that served as the backdrop for several major motion pictures including “The Big Chill” and “Forrest Gump,” fine eateries, historic and famous homes, unusual specialty shops and architectural marvels.

Anyone 18 or older is welcome to book this trip. A $75 deposit per person is due upon signing. Personal checks or money orders for the trip should be paid to the order of TRI-CAP, and sent to P.O. Box 729, Jasper, IN 47547-0729. The final payment is due Aug. 13, 2014. Full refund is guaranteed if cancellation is made by Oct. 3.
