DCH home health to change

Effective Thursday, Daviess Community Hospital will be transitioning home health services to other providers.

As part of the plan, DCH has signed a primary vendor agreement with Preferred Home Health Care, Inc., an Indianapolis-based organization with offices in both Indianapolis and Washington. Established in 1988, Preferred brings a history of quality home health services. Preferred is authorized to provide services in 88 of 92 counties in Indiana.

“Preferred Home Health Care will be working with Daviess Community Hospital on a variety of patient care initiatives,” said David Bixler, CEO, Daviess Community Hospital. “Having the relationship with Preferred is certainly a positive for our community.”

Nora Vandagrifft, RN, owner and administrator of Preferred Home Health Care, Inc. said, “Trust, care, and compassion is Preferred Home Health Care’s top priority when it comes to caring for your loved one. We are proud to align with Daviess Community Hospital to extend the quality of care that you have grown to trust.”
