Rep. Larry Bucshon (IN-08) will hold a listening session from 4:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. Thursday at The Junction, 605 W. Broadway St., Loogootee. This event is open to the public.

Loogootee board to meet

Loogootee Community School Corporation Board of School Trustees will meet in executive session at 6 p.m. Friday to discuss a job performance evaluation.

Livestock checks in

4-H Livestock checks are ready to be picked up at the Extension office any time between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Washington board to meet

Washington Community Schools will hold a special board meeting at 12:01 p.m. Thursday for a budget hearing.

Retired teacher meeting

The Daviess-Martin County Retired Teachers will meet Friday for lunch at the Washington Ponderosa Restaurant at 11:30 a.m.

Connections to meet in Vincennes

The Vincennes Area Women’s Connection will meet Sept. 10 at 12:15 p.m. at the Family Life Center, Fourth and Locust, Vincennes. Dannette Craig, an employee for Hospice, will inform the group regarding the services that Hospice provides. The Hospice Singers will also provide the musical selections. Fran Kidwell, from Martinsville, will tell the group not to settle for a good life but go for the best life possible. Reservations are due as soon as possible. Nursery available with reservation.
