CSX retirees hold monthly meeting

Twenty-two CSX retirees met Sept. 2 at a local restaurant. Bob DeVore gave the blessing. Bill Hughes and Howard Detty won a plate of pumpkin bread baked by Joyce Lee.

Also attending were Carl Wade, Aida and Charles Tomey, Dave Thomas, Marian McKinney, Larry Aikman, Jim Martin, Sam Myers, Judy and Norm Gerkin, Carolyn and Larry Peyton, Joyce Lee, Charlie Cochran, Margaret and Howard Detty, Bobby O’Brian, Tima and Gary Hickman and LaRue Collett.

The next meeting will be at 11 a.m. Oct. 7 at the Ponderosa.
