---- — Salvation Army needs volunteers

It is officially the Christmas season again and Salvation Army is looking for volunteers to ring a bell. The money raised from the red kettles stays in Daviess County and is used for emergency assistance. If you would like to volunteer to ring a bell for two hours contact Mint Barber, kettle coordinator, at 698-2128. Two hours of your time helps a Daviess County citizen in their time of need.

There will be a craft, bake and rummage sale at the Eagles, 500 E. Main St., beginning at 10 a.m. Dec. 7.

Washington Carnegie Public Library, 300 W. Main St., will hold its reading roundtable at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the small meeting room at the library. For more information, call the library at 254-4586.
