---- — The April Debs Extension Homemakers met for their December Christmas party at Bethel United Methodist Church North campus. A dinner of baked spaghetti, salad, garlic bread and coconut cake was prepared and served by hostess Ruth Kelly and co-hostess Marsha Boyd. Kelly baked the yummy coconut cake from her recipe in the new Bethel cookbook. Debbie Hamdan thanked Kelly and Boyd for the meal. The birthday lunch will be Dec. 18 and the next meeting on Jan. 14 will be Night Out at a local restaurant. The Power House supper will be Dec. 17. It was announced that Beth Bedwell’s retirement reception will be Jan. 29 at the Security Center meeting room. Clubs are to donate cookies. Jane Smith received the door prize and many Happy Dollars were given. Seventeen members were present.
Members played an energetic game full of fun plus exercise. The evening concluded with the opening of Christmas gifts and revealing of mystery pals.
