---- — Members of the Odon High School graduating class of 1945 met Aug. 10 at an Odon restaurant to celebrate their 68th annual reunion. Five members of the class of 42 came out for the event. The group reminisced, took pictures and caught up on the latest news. One member, Zed Veale, who could not be there, sent a letter that was read by Mary Ledgerwood.
During the past year the class lost three members, making a total of 28 deceased and 14 still living.
The table blessing was given by Mary Ledgerwood. Rex Browning and daughter Linda from Cedar Lake brought dessert. They have been doing this for several years. Also attending was Mary Ledgerwood of Loogootee, Keith Sims, Jim Bickley and Thelma Ferguson, all of Odon.
A 69-year reunion is planned for next year at the same place and time.
