Ways to help others

Make a donation this holiday season

DONATE CASH to “Jubilee Christmas” which helps with approximately 250 families and 600 children in Daviess County. Send checks to: Daviess County Partnership-Jubilee Christmas, P.O. Box 1014, Washington, IN 47501 or call 257-2650 for more information.

DONATE CASH to “Cops for Kids” – which serves over 100 students from Head Start in Washington and students from KidStuff Development Preschool. Contact: 254-4410 or put your donation in an envelope and take it to the Washington Police Department.

DONATE CASH to 20th Century Chevy Inc., P.O. Box 371, Washington IN 47501 which helps over 100 children with toys and clothes for Christmas.

DONATE A COAT and/or BLANKET at the Washington Post Office – items are distributed at the December Feed My Sheep food giveaway.

DONATE NEW TOYS to First National Bank, Odon, Montgomery, Elnora – which go to families in need in the North Daviess and southeastern Daviess County areas.

Volunteer to ring a bell for the Salvation Army red kettles. Contact Mint Barber at 254-7500 to set up a time.
