See Daviess County Federal, State Results See Daviess County County Results See Washington School Board Results See ND, BR School Board Results Precinct by Precinct Totals for Daviess County Daviess County's election on Tuesday resulted in a few new faces on the Washington School Board, and on the ballot in November. In the county council race, Republicans running in November will be former auditor Jo Ann McCracken, with 1,823; former Southern Indiana Development Commission director Jo Arthur, with 1,785; and incumbent Mike Sprinkle, with 1,724. The fifth candidate was Mike Russell, who received 1,033 votes. McCracken, Arthur and Sprinkle will run against Democrats Ed Hopkins and George Wilz in November. In the contested commissioners' race, Mike Taylor defeated Cole Wolford for a chance to run in the fall. New to the Washington School Board will be long-time teachers Mike Traylor and Vicki Bubalo, winning at large seats, and Peggy Stephens winning over four-time incumbent Ron Arnold in District I.
