Pielemeier and Murphy celebrate engagement

---- — Joshua James Pielemeier, son of Robert and Brenda Pielemeier of Evansville, and Bethany Rose Murphy, daughter of Douglas and Margaret Murphy of Grand Rapids, Mich., announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of Catholic Central High School and a 2012 graduate of University of Evansville with a degree in political science and international studies. She is employed at the YMCA. She is the granddaughter of Merlin and Angela Steffes and Milicent Murphy and the late Donald Murphy.

The future bridegroom is a 2007 graduate of Barr-Reeve High School and a 2011 graduate of University of Evansville with a degree in mechanical engineering. He is employed at Matrix Design Group of Newburgh. He is the grandson of John Popp and the late Grace Popp, Roy and Margaret Pielemeier and Peggy Frye and the late Jim Frye.

The wedding will take place at 1 p.m. Oct. 5 at St. Isidore Catholic Church, Grand Rapids, with a reception to follow. For guest unable to travel there will be a reception Oct. 26 at the Montgomery Ruritan Building beginning at 4 p.m. with dinner and dancing. All family and friends are invited to attend.
