By virtue of a certified copy of a decree to me directed from the Clerk of the Superior Court of Daviess County, on Cause No. 14D01-0712-MF-173 wherein HSBC Mortgage Services, Inc., was Plaintiff and Shawn W. Cates, Christina L. Cates and State of Indiana, Depart-ment of Revenue, were the Defendants, requiring me to make the sum as provided for in said Decree with interest and cost, I will expose at public sale to the highest bidder, on June 18, 2008 at the hour of 10:00 a.m. at the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, 101 N.E. 4th, Washington, IN 47501, the fee simple of the whole body of Real Estate in Daviess County, Indiana.
A part of Location 257, Township 3 North, Range 7 West, Daviess County, Indiana: Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Location 257 and running thence along the South side of said Location 257, N 88 37 10 E 117 feet; thence leaving said South line and running North, parallel with the West line of said Location 257, a distance of 128 feet; thence S 88 37 10 W, parallel with the South line of said Location 257, a distance of 117 feet; thence South for a distance of 128 feet to the point of beginning, containing 14,972 square feet and/or 0.344 acre, more or less.
ALSO, a part of Location 257, Township 3 North, Range 7 West, Daviess County, Indiana: Commencing at the Southeast corner of said Location 257, and running the South line of said Location 257, S 88 37 10 W 2585.14 feet to the Southeast corner of a 0.344 acre tract and the point of beginning of the description; thence along the East line of said 0.344 acre tract, N for 128.00 feet to a steel rod with cap (MRF); thence S 88 37 10 W, along the North line of said 0.344 acre tract for a distance of 117.00 feet to the center of Sixteenth Street Road; thence running North for 145.08 feet; thence running N 88 59 39 E (through a steel rod with cap (MRF) set at 21.73 feet) for 234.00 feet; thence South for a distance of 271.55 feet to the South line of said Location 257; thence along said South line, S 88 37 10 W for a distance of 117.00 feet to the point of beginning, containing 1.119 acres, more or less.
