The mine is located approximately one mile south and west of Cannelburg, Indiana and is legally described as follows: In T3N, R6W - the SE1⁄4 & part of the NE1⁄4 of Sec. 35; part of the SE1⁄4 and part of the NE1⁄4 of Sec. 36. In T3N, R5W - the SE1⁄4 and part of the SW1⁄4 of Sec. 30; parts of the NE1⁄4, SE1⁄4, SW1⁄4 and NW 1⁄4 of Sec. 31. In T2N, R6W - all of Sec. 1; the E1⁄2 of Sec. 2; the E1⁄2 of Sec. 11; and all of Sections 12, 13, 14, 23 and 24. In T2N, R5W - parts of the SW1⁄4 and SE1⁄4 of Sec. 5; parts of the NE1⁄4 and SE1⁄4 of Sec. 6; parts of the NE1⁄4 and NW1⁄4 and all of the SE1⁄4 and SW1⁄4 of Sec. 7; the NW1⁄4 and parts of the NE1⁄4, SE1⁄4 and SW1⁄4 of Sec. 8; parts of the NW1⁄4 and SW1⁄4 of Sec. 17; and all of Sec. 18. Operations will be conducted within 100 feet of the right-of-way of Daviess County Roads: 100S, 120S, 175S, 200S, 300S, 350S, 400S, 425S, 500S, 600E, 650E, 700E, 800E, 900E, and U.S. Route 50/150. Additionally, operations may be conducted through portions of Daviess County Roads 120S, 175S, 200S, 350S, 400S, 425S, 650E, 700E, 800E and 900E pending County Commissioner’s approval.

Writen comments, objections, and/or requests for a permit conference must be filed with the Division of Reclamation within 30 days of the final weekly publication of this notice and must reference the above listed application number.
