Economy forces library to cut budget

Geoff Mischler, 65, said he’s in the library four days a week, using the computers to find work and check e-mail. He was laid off last year when a program he worked in at Four Rivers was privatized. He said he saves money by using the library’s computers.

“For a relatively small community, we’re fortunate to have this resource,” Mischler said, “and the staff are extremely helpful and accommodating.”
