Shake joins Times-Herald staff



Emilee Shake, a 2009 University of Evansville graduate and Plainville native, has joined the Washington Times-Herald staff.

Graduating with a degree in communication, Shake has had experience in the music and publishing industries working at Liberation Productions in Evansville and as an intern at Creative Trust in Brentwood, Tenn.

While at the University of Evansville, Shake was an active member of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship serving as worship leader and large group coordinator.

“We are very excited at the Times-Herald to have a homegrown girl, such as Emilee, with spirited energy and ambition, to join our newswriting staff,” said Melody Brunson, editor of the Times-Herald.

Shake is also North Daviess High School alumna and member of the Plainville Christian Church.

She is the daughter of Kevin and Angie Shake.
