ELNORA — Youth Jam, a non-denominational Christian music festival geared toward preteens, teens and young adults, was Saturday at the Daviess County Fairgrounds.

Performing this year were local bands, Starlit Platoon, Article One, Stellar Kart and Superchick.

Youth Jam strives to bring young people closer to God through music, personal testimony, example and scripture. This mission is achieved by partnering with Christian artists and speakers, churches, youth specialists, businesses and media to provide a transformational live concert.

Organizers say the event puts young people in an environment with hundreds of their peers where God can soften their hearts and capture their attention.

Tennis, basketball, volleyball and ultimate frisbee was also played.
