Pike Central to hold graduation

PETERSBURG — Pike Central High School will hold its 38th commencement exercises at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the high school gymnasium.

Following the processional, Winter Aust Fiscus, principal, will address the group and the band will play the national anthem. The valedictorian addresses by Desiree Gerrard, Rebecca Lee, Keri Lemond and Longabaugh will follow the invocation and a musical selection by the swing choir.

The salutatorian address by Jeffrey Estey will be preceded by a musical selection by the high school band.

Diplomas will be presented by Suzanne Blake, superintendent, Fiscus, and Kyle Runyan, assistant principal.

The class flower is the yellow dahlia and the class colors are blue and silver. The class of 2013 will graduate under the motto “It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish.”
