---- — City Offices Closed

All city offices and departments will be closed Monday in observance of Presidents’ Day. There will be no trash pick up and the city bus will not be in operation. The recycling center will also be closed. Residents with trash pick up on Monday are urged to have their trash ready for pick up by 7 a.m. Tuesday. Contact the street department at 254-4564 with any questions.

Screenings at DCH

Daviess Community Hospital will offer the following screenings from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday in the DCH lobby: monofilament screenings for diabetics; blood pressure screenings; BMI (body mass index); glucose screenings (blood sugar, fasting for eight hours prior to this screening gives the best results).

Feed my Sheep to distribute

Feed My Sheep will distribute groceries from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at 601 W. Oak St. There will be no admittance to the building until 9 a.m. and the doors will be locked at 1 p.m. Groceries will be distributed at the Odon Nazarene Church, SR 58, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday for persons with Odon and Elnora addresses.
