Friday

2:37 p.m. - Daviess County Sheriff’s dispatched asked for assistance with a slide-off near 1262S SR 57. A minor accident report was completed.

2:27 p.m. - Lionel Bogard reported an accident without injuries at 100 W. Walnut St. A minor accident report was completed.

2:25 p.m. - Daviess County Sheriff’s dispatch reported an accident without injuries at the I-69/U.S. 50 interchange. A minor accident report was completed.

COUNTY REPORT

Thursday

10:31 a.m. - A resident at 913E 200N reported a neighbor stole his dogs and gave them to someone else because, the resident said, the neighbor thought the dogs were not taken care of. The dogs were being taken care of and were to be returned.

ARRESTS

Latasha McDaniel, 32, Evansville, was arrested by Daviess County Sheriff’s deputies Thursday on a warrant for fraud on a financial institution, forgery and two counts of theft. She was released from the Daviess County Security Center on $7,500 bond.

Brian Brown, 46, Washington, was arrested by city police Thursday on a failure to appear warrant for operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license and another operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license count. He was being held without bond.

Johnathan Babbs, 26, Bicknell, was arrested by city police Friday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a BAC of .15 or greater and operating a vehicle while intoxicated involving endangerment. He was being held on $6,500 bond.

Tyler Kelley, 20, Washington, was arrested by city police Friday for domestic battery and disorderly conduct. He was being held on $4,000 bond.
