Monday

10:18 a.m. - Ronald H. Gee, 69 Odon, was driving a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country south on SR 57 and was attempting to make a turn on Ohio Street when the van was hit from behind by a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Jorrin J. Nolan, 19, 5234S 50W. There were no injuries and damage was estimated between $5,000 and $10,000.

Sunday

8:39 p.m. - Alva W. Raber, 25, 1276E 250N, was driving a 1997 Dodge Ram truck north on CR 650E when the truck slid off the road, hitting a utility pole. The pole was snapped in two. There were no injuries, but Raber was cited for having false or ficticious plates and operating a vehicle without financial responsibility. Damage was estimated between $2,500 and $5,000.

ARRESTS

Carleen Mize, 25, Washington, was arrested by city police Friday on a warrant for theft and receiving stolen property. She was released from the Daviess County Security Center on $2,500 bond.

Nathaniel C. Long, 29, Washington, was arrested by city police Friday on a failure to appear warrant. He was released on $2,500 bond.

Richard L. Mathis, 49, Washington, was arrested by city police Saturday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person and operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He was released on $4,000 bond.

Jade L. Sorrells, 45, Washington, was arrested by city police Saturday on a failure to appear warrant. She was released on $2,000 bond.

Melissa D. Craig, 26, Washington, was arrested by city police Saturday on a failure to appear warrant. She was being held on $2,500 bond.

Mitchell D. Sherman, 26, Washington, was arrested by city police Sunday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He was released on $2,000 bond.

Shelli K. Abbott, 50, Otwell, was arrested by city police Sunday for possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance. She was released on $2,500 bond.

Jonathon M. Kay, 19, Odon, was arrested by city police Sunday for criminal trespassing. He was being held without bond.

Matthew L Warne, 26, Montgomery, was arrested by city police Sunday on a warrant for two counts of defrauding a financial institution, three counts of theft, a count of receiving stolen property, a count of forgery, a new charge of driving while suspended with a prior arrest and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. He was being held without bond.
