3 arrested at hotel

WASHINGTON — Three men from Illinois were arrested by Daviess County Sheriff’s deputies Tuesday night for drug activity at a local hotel.

According to dispatch reports, an employee of Baymont Inns and Suites, 7 Cumberland Drive, requested police due to a guest leaving for drug activity.

Upon arriving, deputies found three men, Michael Lang, 30, Lake Villa, Ill.; Ryley Akers, 26, Dekalb, Ill.; and Corey Akers, 37, Cortland, Ill., with drugs and paraphernalia.

All three were taken to the Daviess County Security Center.

Lang was charged with possession of paraphernalia and was held on $2,000 bond. Ryley Akers was charged with possession of paraphernalia and possession of marijuana and was held on $4,000 bond. Corey Akers received charges of possession of marijuana, possession of a syringe and possesion of a Schedule III controlled substance. He was released on $7,000 bond.

All three have been released on bond.
