The Washington Times Herald is proud to announce that assistant editor Todd Lancaster has again been named the CNHI Columnist of the Year.
Lancaster, 48, previously won the CNHI-wide award in 2011, a company that serves over 130 communities across the United States with daily and non-daily newspapers, for his column writing in both the Washington Times Herald and Boomer Magazine.
Lancaster's witty and self-deprecating style often focus on daily life and the absurdities of life in the new millennia.
Lancaster's column writing has also won first place awards in previous Associated Press and Hoosier State Press Award contests. He has also won awards for sports columns, features, sports features and special section design over the last decade.
"It is always nice to be recognized with awards, but obviously we work as a team at the Times Herald," said Lancaster.
Lancaster is married to Jean Lancaster, a North Daviess teacher, and has three children, Cameron, Max Daniel and Sarah.
