2:56 p.m. - Emily Clark said her purse was stolen from a vehicle while at McDonald’s, 1450 E. National Hwy. Employees were to check surveillance footage.

1:26 p.m. - An employee of Chuckle’s, 201 N.E. Fifth St., reported a drive-off worth $48.03 in gas. A female was seen leaving the scene in a beige Pontiac Grand Am.



9:35 p.m. - A caller in Loogootee reported his 1988 red GMC truck was missing. A report was made.

11:22 a.m. - A caller reported trash was left on Oak Grove Road. An address was found in the garabage, but the person had left the residence.

10:52 a.m. - A male caller reported a minor accident on SR 58 near CR 300W. The car had no damage, but there were several icy spots on the road.


Michael Ray Barnard, 34, Washington, was arrested by Daviess County Sheriff’s deputies Wednesday on two counts of domestic battery. He is being held at the Daviess County Security Center on $5,000 bond.

Brandon Lee Baker, 28, Odon, was arrested by Sheriff’s deputies Wednesday for criminal mischief. He was being held without bond.
