Saturday's Police Report



6:41 p.m. - A personal injury accident was reported near SR 257 and U.S. 50. No other details were available.

2:21 p.m. - An employee of Chuckle’s, Odon, reported a drive off of $20.

1:48 p.m. - An employee of Fast Max, Odon, reported a drive off of $51.40.



8:40 p.m. - The sheriff’s department received a report of a one vehicle traffic accident on CR 300W just north of U.S. 50. Deputies say a 2005 Chevrolet Equinox was north bound when the driver lost control on the slick roadway and slid off the west side striking a warning pole and a casing vent belonging to Vectren Natural Gas. The driver, Sarah Walls, age 37, of Washington was not injured. The accident did about $1000 damage to the vehicle.



2:38 p.m. - A resident reported someone broke into a trailer at 100 Howard Ave. and took several items.


11:00 p.m. - Police received about a half dozen reports of prowlers and loud banging outside of their homes. Officers say they believe the noises were a result of the very cold temperatures.

9:43 p.m. - A resident reported someone was throwing objects at the glass door in the rear of her home at 1000 S. Meridian St.


Sarah Walls, 37, Washington, was arrested Thursday by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department on for operator never licensed. No bond was set.

Timothy Norman, 47, Shoals, was arrested Thursday by Odon police for driving while suspended with a prior. Bond was set at $2,000.

Matthew Dixon, 19, Odon, was arrested Thursday by Odon police on a warrant for petition to revoke suspended sentence for theft. Bond was set at $2,000.
