12:11 p.m. - A resident called police and told them his stolen Jeep had been returned and was now parked in his driveway at 511 SW 1st St.


5:35 p.m. - Police received a report that someone had stolen a clay pigeon thrower from a car while it was parked outside of Washington Junior High School on NE 6th St.


Multiple weather related accidents were reported. Most of the accidents occurred in the morning hours on U.S. 50, SR 257 and SR 57.

1:00 p.m. - A bag of drug paraphernalia was found in the Chuckle’s parking lot. The items were destroyed.

12:52 p.m. - A caller on 600E. reported someone had stolen a gun from the property.


William Thompson, 51, Washington, was arrested Thursday by Washington police on two counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated involving endangerment and refusal. Bond was set at $2,000.
