Friday

1:48 p.m. - Sgt. Greg Dietsch reported the Christmas decorations at Meredith Park on E. Main and N.E. Second streets were vandalized.

1:38 a.m. - A caller reported a possible altercation outside the Antique Bar, 100 E. Main St. Four people were found having a verbal argument and were separated for the evening.

Thursday

4:51 p.m. - A male caller reported possible vandalism at the former Black Buggy complex on SR 57. Officers found workers were working on the restaurant for the new owners.

COUNTY REPORT

Thursday

11:59 p.m. - A caller reported an accident without injuries on CR 975N. A guardrail was damaged and an accident report is being completed.

11:53 p.m. - A female caller reported a slide-off on SR 257 near CR 400S. There was no damage to the vehicle. A total of three other slide-offs due to slippery road conditions were reported to county dispatch

9:54 p.m. - A caller reported a vehicle went off SR 257 near CR 450S. A wrecker was contacted and INDOT was advised on road conditions. An accident report is being completed.

4:38 p.m. - A caller advised there is a tree on CR 300S near SR 257. A volunteer firefighter moved the tree off the road.

9:36 a.m. - A caller said a van with Office Connection markings ran a school bus stop arm on U.S. 50 near Providence Mennonite Church. The company was contacted and answered they will speak with the driver.

ARRESTS

David Asbery, 38, Petersburg, was arrested by Daviess County Sheriff’s deputies Tuesday on a failure to appear warrant on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence for conversion and battery resulting in bodily injury. He was released from the Daviess County Security Center on $2,000 bond.
