Moose scramble set for Saturday

WASHINGTON — TSW event this Saturday

Tristate Wrestling will be hosting a fundraising event for the Pike County Special Olympics at the Winslow Community Center on Saturday. Doors open at 6 p.m. Bell time will be 7 p.m. Tickets for the event will be $5. For more more information, find Tristate Wrestling on Facebook.

Moose scramble on Saturday

The Washington Moose Lodge No. 1080 will hold its annual mixed golf scramble on Saturday at the Washington Country Club. Cost is $55 per person (Moose members only) and includes golf, cart, two drink tickets, lunch at the course, dinner, awards and dance at Moose Lodge at 6:30 p.m. Registration is at 7:30 a.m., tee time is 8 a.m. Sign up at the Moose.

Concert set for Sunday

Mission 316 will be in concert at Southwind Wesleyan Church at 6 p.m. Sunday. The Christian-based music group features Tammy Hall, the daughter of Tedd Davis of Washington. Another daughter, Leslie Davis, will be attending the concert and she, Tammy and Tedd will be singing together during the evening. Everyone is invited. Otwell church service Sunday

A community-wide church service will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday at Otwell Community Center, followed by a free will offering lunch hosted by the Otwell Community Center. Also the Little Miss Firecracker contest will be held in the community center gym at 3 p.m.

Bike blessing on Sunday

Friendship Christian Church in Princeton will hold a bike blessing start at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, at the church at 428 W. Lincoln St. The public is invited, and food will be furnished. At 1 p.m., there will be a ride to the Indiana Military Museum in Vincennes. Call (812) 499-8017 for more information.
