WASHINGTON — CITY REPORT

Sunday

11:21 p.m. - Adam Young, 713 Sunset Court, reported that when he came home he noticed someone had stolen several of his flower pots and shattered another flower pot. Extra patrol was requested.

10:46 a.m. - Lisa Clark, 407 E. Hefron St., reported that someone had busted the back window of her vehicle, a 2004 Chevy Venture van. A brick had been thrown through the window.

12:49 a.m. - Angel Rogers, 507 1/2 E. South St., reported that she and her boyfriend had heard a loud noise and discovered the back window of her vehicle had been shattered. Officers discovered that a brick had been thrown through the glass shattering the back window and cracking the front windshield.

Saturday

4:16 p.m. - Jeff Walls, 1004 McCormick Ave., reported that while he was gone someone had struck his other vehicle. Witnesses in the area said the Walls’ vehicle was struck by a brown four-door vehicle and the brown vehicle had spun around after striking the other vehicle.

3:24 p.m. - An unknown caller on Southside Ave., reported that a group of boys were throwing lit firecrackers at dogs in a pen. The noise was scaring the dogs.

12:55 p.m. - Vincennes police reported a 2008 black H3 Hummer had been stolen from the area. Linton police lost the vehicle on a chase earlier in the day.  A shoplifter had been in the Linton Walmart earlier in the day and had to show her identification to make a return. She then got into the Hummer with unknown persons. The vehicle may have been on its way to another Walmart store.

COUNTY REPORT

Sunday

7:36 p.m. - A caller on 8638E 700S near Cannelburg reported a minor accident in the parking lot of the Oak Grove Church on CR 700S in Pennyville. Both parties exchanged information and there was only minor damage.

4:13 p.m. - A caller at 6683 E. Gasthof Village Rd. reported a minor accident in the employee parking lot. The involved parties exchanged information and did not need a report.

12:41 p.m. - Knox County Sheriff’s Department advised of an elderly female driving a blue Lincoln heading east in the west bound lane. 

 3:32 a.m. - A caller on CR 150S reported a horse was in the roadway near 125E 150S and heading toward SR 257. The horse and its owners were located.

Saturday

11:08 p.m. - A caller on East Street in Odon reported her neighbors were still setting off fireworks and the noise was disturbing her 11-month-old baby. The neighbors were asked not to set off the fireworks.

11:05 p.m. - A caller on St. Mary’s Road in Loogootee reported thatoccupants in a white Grand Am was throwing fire crackers at other vehicles driving by.

11:33 a.m. - While serving a warrant at 450S 100E, officers advised that Daviess County REMC needed to be contacted in reference to theft of services and stealing electricity. Metal had been put in the box that needed to be taken into evidence. There was also a potted marijuana plant on the front porch that was taken into possession.

9:01 a.m. - An employee of Fast Max in Elnora reported that a black Chevy Monte Carlo drove off without paying for $10 in gas.

3:34 a.m. - A caller on SR 57 near Plainville reported an elderly woman walking along the highway who appeared to be disoriented. Officers transported the woman home.

ARRESTS

John McGovren, 40, Odon, was arrested Friday by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant out of Greene County. No bond was set.

Misty Donnetta, 37, Washington, was arrested by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department Friday on a warrant. She was released on $2,500 bond.

Tammy Fleck, 39, Washington, was arrested Friday by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant. She was released on $2,000 bond.

Lesa Harden, 41, Odon, was arrested Friday by Odon police on an out of county warrant. No bond was set.

Joshua Gowen, no age given, Washington, was arrested Friday by Washington police on two counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated .15 percent or more and operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person. Bond was set at $4,000.

Kyle Babrick, 28, Washington, was arrested Saturday by Washington police for invasion of privacy. No bond was set.

Olga Mora-Lopez, 28, Washington, was arrested Saturday by Washington police for operator never licensed. She was released on $2,000 bond.

Ryan Edward Norrington, 38, Washington, was arrested Saturday by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant for three counts of theft, forgery, and dealing a Schedule IV controlled substance. Bond was set at $52,500.

Douglas Ray Raley, 35, Vincennes, was arrested Saturday by Indiana State Police on four counts of auto theft, possession of stolen property, theft, and possession of paraphernalia. Bond was set at $9,500.

Brittany Ridge, 24, Vincennes, was arrested Saturday by Indiana State Police on three counts of auto theft, possession of stolen property, and theft. Bond was set at $4,000.

Jill Chamness, 26, Oaktown, was arrested Saturday by Washington police on two counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person and operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Bond was set at $4,000.
