PETERSBURG — City Council meeting

Washington City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday in Council Chambers,

200 Harned Ave. Items included on the agenda: reading of resolutions regarding economic development area and services with Economic Development Foundation; reading of ordinances to amend code of ordinances, establish prices for Waterworld, rezoning land on CR 150S.

Board of Public Works and Safety will meet immediately following the Council meeting. Items included on the agenda: claims and permits; transformer agreement; contract for development services; quotes to purchase new chipper.

Immediately prior to the Council meeting Rodney Helderman will be sworn in a police officer.

B-R board meeting

Barr-Reeve Community Schools Board of School Trustees will meet in executive session at 7 p.m. Tuesday to discuss security systems and a job performance evaluation.

The open session will be at 8 p.m. Items included on the agenda: pension bond refinance resolution; approve of handbooks; custodial recommendations; coaches and teacher recommendations.

Full Gospel revival

Full Gospel Chapel of Washington is holding a three-day revival with Evangelist Phillip Smith of Fulton, Ky., as its guest speaker. Services will be held Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. each night and Sunday at 10 a.m. All are welcome to attend. The church is located on SR 57S in Washington across from Jones and Sons Concrete.

Pike County board meeting

Pike County School Corporation Board of School Trustees will meet in executive session at 5:30 p.m. Monday. The regular meeting will be at 7 p.m.

Friends for Animals meeting

The monthly meeting of Friends for Animals will be at 6 p.m. Monday at the Washington Carnegie Public Library, 300 W. Main St., Everyone is invited to attend.

Friends for Animals will hold a food and donation drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Walmart.

Commissioners meet Monday

Daviess County Commissioners will meet in executive session at 8 a.m.

Monday,  in the Commissioners' Room at the courthouse to receive information about prospective employees.

The regular session will begin at 9 a.m. Items included on the agenda:

electronic health record; multifamily housing revenue bonds.

Tuesday - "Move! Towards a Healthier You." 1-3 p.m.

Wednesday - Parkview Village bingo, 10 a.m.; Enhance Fitness, 2:30 p.m.

Thursday - Bible study, 10 a.m.; Crochet Club, 1 p.m.

Friday - Foot clinic, 8:30 a.m.; Enhance Fitness 2:30 p.m.

Free Tax seminar - The Free Tax Service is limited to a $50,000 income level and last day for an appointment is April 15.

Marion VA, SAFS and Purdue Extension-Daviess County Presents "Move! Toward a Healthier You!" The classes are being offered at Senior and Family Services at 1 p.m. six consecutive Tuesdays. The second class is Tuesday, April 9.
