Friday

7:09 a.m. - An employee of Chuckle’s, 201 N.E. Fifth St., reported a drive-off worth $7.29 in gas. The driver returned a short time later.

Thursday

7:55 p.m. - Ptl. Case Cummings was investigating a complaint at an apartment at Shepard Hills. Three people were taken into custody. A 2-year-old child was found at the apartment and a grandmother came to take custody of the child.

3:59 p.m. - Van Baker reported the theft of his license plate while possibly parked at Walmart Supercenter, 1801 S. SR 57. An investigation is ongoing.

COUNTY REPORT

Thursday

3:18 p.m. A caller said two small children were playing in a creek unattended on CR 900E. No one was found when a deputy arrived in the area.

ARRESTS

Kevin Flax, 26, Washington, was arrested by city police Thursday for possession of marijuana, possession of a paraphernalia and visiting a common nuisance. He was being held at the Daviess County Security Center without bond.

Christy Murray, 20, Washington, was arrested by city police Thursday for possession of marijuana and visiting a common nuisance. She was being held on $4,500 bond.

Jalessa Carter, 23, Washington, was arrested by city police Thursday for possession of marijuana, maintaining a common nuisance and neglect of a dependent. She was being held on $7,000 bond.

Jessica Guy, 24, Washington, was arrested by city police Thursday on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence for theft and operating a vehicle while intoxicated - endangering a minor. She was being held on $10,000 bond.

Jose Brito-Reza, 38, Washington, was arrested by city police Friday for operating a vehicle while never licensed. He was being held on $2,000 bond.
