WASHINGTON — SAFS activities for next week

Monday — “Grandma Judy’s Closet Cleaning Bingo” 10 a.m.; Enhance Fitness 2:30 p.m.

Tuesday — Computer lessons 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.; movie and snack, 9:30 a.m.

Wednesday — Eastgate Manor bingo 10 a.m.; Enhance Fitness 2:30 a.m.

Thursday — Bible study 10 a.m.; Crochet Club 1 p.m.

Friday — Medicare, Supplements and YOU!  Dustin Davis from United Insurance Services in Washington will explain Medicare and answer any questions you may have. Open enroll ends Dec. 7. Come and be educated,

Immunization clinic this Tuesday

The Daviess County Health Department will sponsor immunization clinics from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, at Eastside Park Community Building and from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Oct. 30 at Odon Community Building.

A record of previous immunizations is required. Children under 18 years of age need to be accompanied by an adult.

Flu shots are available for children under the age of 18 who have no insurance; insurance does not cover or Medicaid.

Commissioners to meet Tuesday

Daviess County Commissioners will meet in executive session at 8 a.m. Tuesday in the Commissioners’ Room at the courthouse to discuss litigation.
